When you create an account, we collect your email address and name. When you use our detection or humanization tools, your input text is processed in real-time but never stored permanently unless you are logged in and your scan history feature is enabled. Logged-in users have a scan record (action type, timestamp, first 120 characters of preview) saved to their personal history.
We use your data solely to provide and improve the Vex.AI service. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your text is never used to train AI models — ours or anyone else's. We use Supabase as our data infrastructure provider, which operates under EU-compliant data protection standards.
We use strictly necessary cookies to maintain your session and remember your language preference. We also use analytics cookies (with your consent) to understand how users interact with our tools so we can improve them. You can opt out of analytics cookies at any time via the cookie banner.
If you are based in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can delete your scan history from your Account page. To request full account deletion, email us at support@vex-ai.io. We will process your request within 30 days.
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Our servers are hosted in ISO 27001-certified data centers in EU-West (Frankfurt) and US-East (Virginia). Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

You may not use the service to deceive educational institutions in violation of their academic integrity policies — you are solely responsible for how you use our output.
AI detection is a probabilistic technology, not a definitive verdict. Vex.AI provides likelihood scores, not absolute determinations. We make no warranty that our scores will match those of third-party detectors such as Turnitin or GPTZero. Do not rely solely on our output for high-stakes academic decisions.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account or allow others to use your word balance. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that show signs of abuse, including automated bulk usage or reselling access.
The Vex.AI platform, including its design, algorithms, and branding, is owned by Vex.AI Ltd. You retain full ownership of any text you submit. By submitting text, you grant us a temporary, non-exclusive license to process it for the purpose of delivering our service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vex.AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months prior to the claim.
